Welcome! I am a mother of two girls and a caregiver to my mom and mentally challenged brother. I recently published a book "... Old Man Pouring Rain" in which my goal is to continue writing more adventures of the raindrops and to bring the characters into stores as plush toys so everyone can enjoy them. However, more importantly I want to help raise money for the Leukemia Society through the sales, since one of the kids in the story is my niece who was diagnosed with Leukemia on Fathers day of 2007. She just completed in August 2009 her last treatment and had her port removed. She celebrated the end of her treatments coupled with the celebration of her 7th birthday in September 2009! Because of my niece, I put my 24 year old idea into a story and hopefully will be able to help others because of her inspiration.

Gardening is something I enjoy especially when the flowers actually bloom and the vegetables grow to a decent size for complimenting a meal.

I love dogs in all shapes and sizes! We have three poms that keep mom company and a Golden Retriever named Roscoe that my brother absolutely adores!

Traveling is nice to escape from the daily routines, but it doesn't become  an option much at all due to the expense of home care.

I was a pharmacy technician for 22 plus years at various hospitals in the bay area and in the central valley of Sacramento, CA. I also worked for a homecare company for a few years, until I had to quit to become a caregiver/homemaker for my family of 5 and 4 dogs.
